The Training Tax Credit for employers and apprentices will be extended until at least 2017, according to the BC Government.
"This is a huge benefit for both parties," says Quadrant's President Campbell Black. "It can put serious dollars back in your pocket at tax time." Credits are available for participating and completing apprenticeship programs. They are based on a percentage of wages paid.
The Training Tax Credit has been in effect since 2007, but there was discussion recently indicating that the program might be dropped. Thankfully, this is not the case. For more information see the BC Government Taxes and Rebates site.
